Barebone Win7 drivers for HP all-in-one?

Hi everyone.
I just got a new computer running windows 7.
I have this Hp c6380 all-in-one.
I used Windows to discover and install the drivers for it, and printing now works fine.
Although in the "Devices and Printers" section of the control panel,
windows recognized that it is a printer and scanner, I can't get the scanner part to work.
Photoshop does not see an installed scanner.
I looked on the HP site and all they have for win7 is the drivers bundled together with crapware.
Now for Vista, they have
a separate option to download the barebone drivers only, but not for Win7.
I have no intentions of cluttering my pristine computer with hp stuff.
Is there a way to get around this? Like a way to extract the driver installers from the win7 package? Or would
installing the vista drivers work?

If you go to this website, you can install the full driver package for your printer rather than rely on the generic driver that Windows update installed..

Use the System File Checker tool to repair corrupted or missing system files:
