Boot Folder works but its on a non c: drive?

When I recently went to make a disc image of windows, it automatically included a drive (Y) in a 2nd partition after my c drive.
And I think it is because the Boot Folder is on the Y Drive - a couple files in the boot folder had todays date so I think
its active.
I dont know why its there or how it got there - but this is the one thing that scares the daylights out of me to mess with.

I think it needs to be on my C drive but I am not sure - (I hope then it would not ask me to backup the Y drive when I am tying to make a Windows image).- Also not sure how to move it and if Windows would know where to look.

Any expert direction in the matter would be appreciated.

- Can I Move It? How?
- Should I move it?
- Should it have been there in the first place or on the C drive?
- Would that make Windows backup include the whole Y drive because the boot folder being there?
