Cannot log into one only banking site

I cannot log into one only banking site.  I have two laptops running Windows 7 and IE 11.  Both of these computers cannot log in.  All other banking and secure sites that we use are ok on both computers.  An older laptop running XP Pro and IE 8 has no problem
logging into this problem banking site.  Log in fails after entering account and password details, the screen then returns to the log in window again.  The banking site 'help desk'  has also tested my account, all ok.
I have tried ;-
1.
Check for a compatibility issue, all ok
2.
Ran a IE 11 'Fix It' program from MS, no problems found
3.
Ran IE 11 with no add-ons, still the same log in problem
4.
Added the banking site to 'Trusted Sites'.  This caused IE11 to close down and re-open back at the log in page.
5.
Tried to access the site as 'In Private Session'.  This produced the original fault, i.e.
went back to the sites log in window
6.
Cleared the SSL State,  this caused IE to "stop working".
IE then re-opened back at the log in page again.  A message in the notification bar said "There is a problem with this web page and it caused IE to reload the page".
I then used the old laptop
again with XP Pro and IE 8, no problem, logged straight on.

I have also checked the computer clock including the State and Country time zones.
Getting desperate, any help would be appreciated.

Hi Trashzone,  I have fixed the problem.  I have reformatted the HDD, did a full update including to IE 11. 
I did not use AVG this time instead used Microsoft Security Essentials. 
Log on to the problematic account failed initially,  I then ran IE 11 without add-ons, this failed. 
I then added the site to Compatibility View settings as a trusted site and Eureka! It works.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

• Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
• Click on Boot Tab
• Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
• Select Network.
• Click Apply and OK.
• Reboot your System.
