Windows won't boot, just black screen with cursor
I turned on my computer tonight and before booting it started scrolling text saying deleting corrupted files and scanning files etc...this went on for at least 10-15 minutes and then when it was done it said "Starting Windows" like normal, then brought
me to a black screen that said "Preparing to configure windows...do not turn off your computer".
That message disappeared after a few seconds and left me with a black screen with a cursor.
In the bottom right hand corner of the screen is a power button, bottom
left is ease of access button and bottom center it says Windows 7 Home Premium.
I can't do anything with this.
I've restarted numerous times, and I've tried restarting in Safe Mode and it still brings me to this point every time.
How can I fix this?
PS.
I did not upgrade my version of windows or anything...Windows did install some updates last time I turned off the computer I think.
