windows 7 internet access randomly shuts down
i just got a new system running win 7 home premium(1 week ago) i have comcast internet and have a wndr3400 router(netgear) the router is about a month old and is updated to the latest drivers my entire network was running wonderfully and i had no problems
with internet or network connection....until i hooked up this windows 7 beast.
now using all the same networking things when my win7 pc is connected the internet will disconnect at random and will stay off until i reset both my modem and my router and then
it generally works well i get plenty of dl and upl speed and i can stream movies with my networked hard drive to other pc's (running xp) the light that represents that my router has an internet connection turns orange saying it has no connection to internet
my win7 pc still maintains connection with the network and my modem still flashes the lights saying it is getting cable internet activity... please someone i have been trying almost nonstop to get this fixed and have turned off all security on win 7
to no avail. but if i turn off win7 pc and reset modem and router the connection stays no problem so im sure it is a problem with win 7 i need help
