Windows Live Calendar and Live Mail

I have been using Windows Live Mail for some time without logging onto my Windows Live account.
Now I want to use WL but when I sign on I cannot see my PC calendar any more.
As soon as I sign out of WL, I see my PC calendar again.
What am I doing wrong
?
