Adding a trend line to a chart
I have a simple line chart representing a single column of yearly data. I left click on the chart, then left click on the line (which selects). Then I right click on the selected line and the option to"Add Trendline" is greyed out - i.e.
I cannot
add a trendline.
Why would this be?

Select the chart.
Choose (Chart Tools) Design > (Type) Change Chart Type > Line icon
The standard Line icon is on the far right of the Line chart types, and the Stacked Line chart type is adjacent.

You might use a stacked line chart if you had a base data series on your worksheet and another data series that has increment values relative to the base.
You would use the standard Line chart if you wanted to add a trendline to a single data series.
You would also use a standard Line chart if you had multiple data series and you wanted to add a separate trendline to each one of them.

Boot in Safe Mode:
- Open Run command as previously described
- Type MSConfig
- Click on Boot tab
- Tick Safe boot in Boot option
- Select Network
- Click Apply and OK
- Reboot your system
Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
