Troubleshooting:A few problems going on right now. Error

A few problems going on right now.

Okay, I might have a big problem concerning the activity of my laptop recently.
Whenever I turn it on, it seems to be working just fine.
But after about 2-3 hours, no programs are opening from this point, including the volume control, which won't pop-up
when I click on it, and my Windows Explorer programs just start freezing every time I click on something.
Can you please tell me how to fix this problem and pronto? I'm very concerned about that behavior.

I think I figured out the problem.
I had too many registry errors in my system.
That was why my programs wouldn't open after a few hours, my volume control wouldn't pop-up open, and my computer won't shut down properly (it just shows my desktop background
for indefinitely).
Luckily for me, I fixed my problem with a working registry cleaner.
Thank you for your first solution.
